In 2021 I worked briefly on Silly Sundays, a TV Series created by Nuria Blanco and done in Cartoon Saloon.

The show protraits the adventures of a family every sunday. I was asked to join to help with the location design, but they were well covered! So I ended up doing one of my favourite things, exploring the style and compositions through character moments and situations, doing some scene illustrations.

This project was very special to me because I knew the assigment to the core! It was basically painting my summer holidays as a kid in Spain. So it was a joy (and a pain because I couldn´t be on summer holidays) to go everyday to work and look at pictures of my favourite beaches in La Costa Brava, remembering the smell of the bugamvillas and the don diegos, painting my great gran aunt´s house in Murcia with those jazmines...  So I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it!
